The purpose of the DEVO team is to bring together up and coming riders who
want to have fun and advance in all facets of their snowboarding skills.
This year's team will focus on various aspects of mountain safety and
awareness, terrain park and resort etiquette, park safety, advanced riding
techniques, tricks, competition awareness, and equipment selection and
maintenance.
The cost for the DEVO team is only $175. That cost includes a minimum of 7
sessions.
Normal sessions will be held Sunday afternoons from 1-4 p.m.
Make-up sessions or additional sessions are scheduled on Fridays from 4:30-6:30 p.m.
These sessions are open to all DEVO team riders regardless of how many
sessions they have attended.
Other sessions can be scheduled on Saturdays
for an additional cost.
The DEVO team coaches will travel to a minimum 3 contests with team riders who wish to attend (contest entry fees, lift
tickets, food and all other costs associated with travel are not included).
Each DEVO team rider will receive a sponsorship discount at BSBS. The
sponsorship discounts ONLY apply to DEVO team riders and can be used to purchase boots, bindings, boards, outerwear, and repairs.
There will be up to 3 class divisions. Riders will be placed into groups according to ability and goals. Boys and girls are welcome. All DEVO team
riders must be able to ride all lifts without adult assistance and must be able to ride on both green and blue runs.
