The Stomp Games are back! The Northwest’s premiere ski and snowboard freeride event is happening at Schweitzer Mountain Resort, March 19th-21st. Rider-X and Slopestyle disciplines take place Saturday and Sunday, with a new event happening Friday night: The Schweitzer Big Boot Stomp Session (BBSS). The BBSS is a jam format competition on a single feature (with 2 options) at the bottom of the slopestyle course. Riders will be judged on their single best trick off either the kicker or the cannon box.

Entry Fee:
  • $10 - Amateur Big Boot Stomp Session
  • $20 - Pro Big Boot Stomp Session
  • $35 - Amateur Rider-X
  • $50 - Pro Rider-X
  • $35 - Amateur Slopestyle
  • $50 - Pro Slopestyle
  • There is a $5 late fee for BBSS and $20 late fee for Slopestyle and Rider-X if registering after March 15th! Entry fees do not include lift tickets.

  • 10:00 -10-15AM: MANDATORY RIDERS MEETING IN LODGE
  • 10:30AM: CONTEST STARTS

    AT CONCLUSION OF SLOPESTYLE THERE WILL BE AN OPEN EXPRESSION SESSION JIB AND JUMP OFF " Best Trick Comp"

    CASH PRIZES FOR PRO DIVISIONS TO 3RD PLACE PRIZES TO 3RD PLACE FOR ALL OTHER DIVISIONS All spectators must ski or board to course with lift access, spectators can also walk to terrain park approx 1/2 mile...uphill from base lodge.

    Each rider will receive two runs each run must consist of four (4) hits. There are 11-12 hits and rails in the terrain park. You may hit more that 4, your top four scores will be counted. There are three judges, amplitude, style and technical. Each hit will be judged out of a max of 25 points for a max total per run of 100pts. Your best run will count. NOTE: IF YOU ONLY HIT 3 HITS ...YOUR MAX SCORE CAN ONLY BE 75...MAKE SURE YOU HIT 4 HITS FOR A POSSIBLE 100 SCORE.

  • Categories: Minimum of 5 riders per category less than 5 riders in any category will be combined in categories of 5 or more riders.

    Contest will run in age groups and after all contestants have completed their runs , the order will be repeated (no break in between). Age group will start from youngest to oldest then Pro. If weather stops the contest before all contestants can complete their 2nd run, scores will be tallied up on 1st run only. Riders are responible for getting to the top of course on time. No make ups...dont miss your start time.

    Skiers and snowboard categories are separate. If there are not enough riders in a particular category, event organizers reserve the right to combine classes and prizes.
  • PRACTICE: The Great Divide Terrain Park will be open on Friday night, Saturday and Sunday morning. Practice is recommended.
  • INVERTS: Inverts are not recommended but you will not be penalized for any inverted tricks. Get the hint.
  • HELMETS: Helmets are highly recommended but not required. Get the hint. Lift tickets or season passes are required
